The peewees meet three times a week for a total of five hours. Performing experience consist of the holiday show, Youth Fair, one competition and annual recital.

Juniors

The junior age range is approximately 7-10 yrs of age. This is the beginning stage of a more serious dance program. Dancers are required to execute vocabulary and technique at an intermediate level. The Pre-Juniors will compete at a regional level only, usually taking place in Fort Lauderdale or Orlando. Community performances will be available as well as the annual recital. Pre-juniors meet three to four times a week for a total of 6-7 hours.

Teens I, II, III

The teens age from 12-15 years of age. These dancers are considered to be the elite members of the Company. At this level the dancers are mastering the art of dance and performance. The teens compete at two Regional competitions each year. They also perform through out the community and begin assisting in various dance classes and rehearsals. Each teen level is separated depending on knowledge and experience.

Seniors

The seniors age range from 14-18 years of age. These are generally high school students that are considering pursuing a career in the field of dance.

Being a part of this particular group requires hard work, dedication and sacrifice. It requires long hours of class time as well as rehearsal time. At this time, the dancer experiences intensive dance training, therefore the dancers should be both physically and mentally strong. Our seniors usually become a part of our faculty; these dancers also work around the community and share our style of training to others.

Seniors compete at two Regional and one National every other year. Future seniors will have the opportunity to dance professionally with Miami Dance Project, a new upcoming modern company housed in New Image Dance Center.
