Barbara DelgadoBarbara Delgado initially began her training with her mother Maruxa Fajardo, a well-known professor in Cuba and Mexico. At age 7, Barbara began, dancing professionally with the Afro-Cuban Production of Ochun Obayeye. Through this production she had acclaimed many awards from the A.C.C.A an organization formed to Distinguished Hispanic artist.Barbara then continued her training in dance programs via Miami-Dade County Magnet Schools such as New World School of the Arts. During this time she also trained and performed with the Florida Dance Theater and La Danza Company. Thereafter, she pursued higher education at the University of Florida where she achieved her Knowledge by working with choreographers and teachers from major dance companies such as Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey, Jose Limon, and the New York City Ballet. Barbara’s strong background in concert work and commercial dance has enabled her to work successfully in both worlds. Barbara has choreographed for the television station Univison, as well as worked for artists such as Gloria Estefan, Chayanne, Jerry Rivera, Derrick Demitri, and music video producer Billie Woodrolf. Her unique blend of styles has been apparent in dance competitions through which she has won golden-platinum awards. |

Patrick JustinianoPatrick Justiniano began his dance training at the age of eight, with Miami-Dade County Magnet School, South Miami Middle. He learned various dance styles including Ballet, Modern and Jazz under the direction of Linda Long and Nan Imbesi. While in South Miami Middle he met Barbara Delgado and was given a scholarship to train with her at New Image Dance Company. In hopes of attending one of the most prestigious art schools he went on to audition for New World School of the Arts and was accepted. During his training at New World, Patrick worked under the direction of Daniel Lewis. He branched out to different dance styles including, Graham, Limon, Horton, Caribbean, and Ballet. He worked with various artists such as Peter London, Freddrick Bratcher, Bambi Anderson, Michael Uthoff, Tina Santos, Gerald Ebitz and many others. Patrick danced with ABT in the summer of 2001 as a supra in the performance of Sleeping Beauty. He has also guest choreographed various pieces at Arts and Mind High School, South Miami Middle School, and in 2008 he choreographed a number that was performed at The Carnival Center for The Children’s Trust. Currently Patrick is the manager/choreographer of New Image Dance Company, manages the summer camp through The Children’s Trust, help’s with the junior Miami Dance Project Company, and has been a Company Member of Miami Dance Project since its debut in 2005. |

Katerina San JuanKaterina San Juan began her dance training of various styles at the age of three. She was later introduced to the ballet world at the age of two by Liana Navarro. Katerina has danced in various national and local competitions such as the Youth American Grand Prix, Headliners, Starpower, Nexstar, and many more, winning numerous scholarships and gold medals. After dancing for so many years, she began to teach technique and ballet for various studios throughout Miami. Katerina is an honors graduate from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Miami, FL and currently attends Florida International University. Her appreciation and love for dance continues as a dance instructor at New Image Dance Center. |

Lissette DubeLissette Dube was born and raised in Miami, Florida on July 8th, 1985. She began her ballet training as a young child in various studios. It was not till the age of nine that she found a home at In motion Dance Studio, under the direction of Renee Rich. Lissette trained in a variety of dance styles such as: classical and contemporary ballet, Limon and Horton modern dance techniques, jazz, tap, and hip-hop. Lissette was a member of In Motion's dance company; Artists In Motion, which was invovled in a variety of non-profit performances. In addition to performing with her studio's company, Lissette was also a part of her high school's performing dance group. She has had the privilage of working with some of Miami's best and well known choregraphers and teachers. Each of which have taught her a new way of executing and protraying different types of movement. Lissette is currently in her third year teaching at New image Dance Studio and continues her dance training under the direction of Barbara Delgado. This is her second year in Miami Dance Project and is very proud to be a part of such a talented group of dancers. |

Noel GonzalezNoel Gonzalez was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He began dancing at the age of 9 In Magnet Schools like "Mays Middle" and "Coral Reef Senior High School". He continued dancing after school in studios, became a part of New Image Dance Center in 2003 where he trained with Director Barbara Delgado. He later than started working with Company's such as New Century Dance Company and Galaxy Entertainment, which opened the doors for him to work with Busch Gardens, Walt Disney World, "Non" Equity Performances in New York and in TV stations such as Univision, Telemundo, Mega TV and Sabado Gigante with artist such as Pilar Montenegro, and Thalia. He's been part of Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean as a dancer where he had the opportunity to dance in Broadway shows in Hawaii. Now back in Miami, He's working with New Image Dance Center and their Summer Camp program. He continues his third year with Miami Dance Project, a Modern company under the direction of Barbara Delgado, Noel is grateful for his training and everything he has accomplished and is looking forward to see what the future has in stored for him. |

Karen HirstKaren was born in New York, and started her ballet training in Buenos Aires, Argentina and continued in Dallas with the Dallas Metropolitan Ballet. Her professional career began with Boston Ballet II, Boston Ballet and the Washington Ballet where she performed leading roles from others. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University before joining Fort Worth Dallas Ballet. She currently lives in Miami with her husband abd two sons, Aiden and Ethan. She is guesting with various companies while choreographing and teaching ballet for New Image Dance Studio and New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. |
